Fall handbags that just keep on giving.
I am Learning Investment Over Time
That was reason number one, and reason number two is that I have been looking for a sturdy handbag to get me through fall and winter.
Last fall I used my Dune London.
I still love my DUNE handbag and have it tucked away in the closet, but I have realized something about myself.
In the colder months, I like to pack a lot of things.
Gloves, scarves, lotion, makeup, doggie necessities for my fur baby, hats, books, things for work….
The list goes on and on.
I needed more space than my previous fall handbag can offer.
I will of course still be reaching for it on fall and winter weekends or when I just need something smaller.
Shopping for a Larger Handbag for Fall
I started looking at lower to mid range (priced items) and decided on a mid-range splurge.
Why? I have had some AMAZING lower-priced purses in the past, but I have probably wanted a bag of this size and style for a few years.
Investing in a handbag that is a bit pricier and possibly can last for a long time (depending on the brand, the materials used, and your wear and tear on the item)…… is something I wanted to at least consider.
I was looking for a sturdy (boring-ish bag), and I was wanting to invest in something offering a bit more quality in texture.
After doing a brief search, I settled on the Michael Kors “Avril” for a few reasons. I really like the shape of the bag and how it flows.
It’s like a sturdy clam shell, and I feel like Ariel would approve as well.
Plus, I really like the color in the shade “luggage.”
Normally I would have bought a black handbag, but I was feeling the brown option this time around.
Higher End to Mid Range Designer Fall Handbags
If you are in a higher splurge season than I am, I want to offer some of my dreamy fall high-end handbag picks.
I love this lotus bag.
My next higher-priced item is this Hermes-inspired bag by Tory Birch.
I love this bag so so so so so so much.
The price range is still steep, but it is a decent investment handbag that has all the makings of a classic.
If you are wanting a classic shape that holds just a bit…..I think this is a great option, and it will go with so many outfits.
I love this tan coach bucket bag as well.
Great Fall Handbags Under $100
This bag is asking for a fun night out in the fall. I feel like this bag has stories.
Quince is offering those day to night selections.
It’s giving almost neon, almost Grinch.
A classic cutie.
Love. It’s giving Zenon Girl of the 21st century. IYKYK.
The Drop — from Amazon.
In Conclusion – Great Fall Handbags
These are just suggestions.
I don’t suggest buying things just to buy things.
Do you have a need or a want?
Do what works for you.
Personally, I am just happy to be done buying replacement items.
Very thankful.
But also…..THINGS don’t make you happy. Little things do.
Cups of coffee or tea, long walks, animals, long conversations, hugs, genuine people, books, reading, talking with God.
You know?
Also, am I now writing two posts a week? IDK.
The advice from blogging courses is at least two a week….but we shall see.
Am I niching down? Also…..IDK.
Bloggers have to do it for the algorithm.
On weeks that I plan on writing a non-fashion post…..I may consider writing two at least.
