Let’s talk spring jackets.
I have been loving the in-between moments from the end of winter to early spring.
Early spring is such a beautiful time of year. Where I live — We get spoiled with every season of life, and it makes life feel in sync with reality.
With that, I have been collecting spring jackets to incorporate into my wardrobe since last spring — even adding a few new ones this year.
I think when finding your needs versus wants in a new season — it is very important to be practical and honest with yourself.
Some people are very monotonous in their everyday dress routine — think Steve Jobs.
Others are a little more relaxed in their style choices but still remain very programmed in their aesthetic.
My style type is a bit more chaotic.
Meaning — I need to know I have options — but not so many options that I cannot think.
Rebuilding your closet can take time. It’s a constant plucking, renewing, and reviewing that keeps your style interesting.
Jackets are a great way to give yourself options. I bought all of my jackets this season second-hand.
Spring Jacket Splurges
I think this Barbour jacket is a classic and very worth the $485. I don’t have this jacket yet — but maybe one day?
I really love it.
I did buy myself a red trench coat for this spring. I saw this and thought it was perfect for my color season. When I wear it I feel cozy, chic, powerful, and effortless. Maybe I will write about color seasons next? It does make shopping easier in some ways.
Another jacket I surprised myself with was a vintage 1980s, acid wash, oversized jean jacket, with neon embellishments.
It was a deeply satisfying purchase. Here is a similar style of jacket that is more modernized and polished.
Western fringe was another that I added into the mix. I couldn’t believe my luck when I found it on the racks. Here is a similar style that looks closely to the fringe patterns that I have on mine.
A classic leather trench is also very stunning for this time of year.

Nothing beats a cool bomber jacket. I have one in green that I bought last spring.
Track jackets are also great to incorporate Into the mix. I have one in cream. This is similar in fit.
Lastly, I am really loving a great quilted jacket.
Happy spring jacket season.
