8 Black Owned Businesses You Need to Know About!
We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.
Back when I started Bella Kate 22 in 2020 — I wrote about black-owned businesses.
In 2024, it seems time to add another one to the mix.
There are so many to choose from (it was hard to narrow it down). Here are my picks!
Adriana Nichole Cosmetics
This cruelty-free brand is all over TikTok.
Adriana Nichole Cosmetics’ products have been making the rounds on socials due to their amazing eyeshadow palette, “I Am Luxurious.”
You get eight duo chrome shadows and four matte shades.
ANC also sells single-pot eyeshadows for $15.
I really want to try their “Hydragloss Lip Gloss” and “Luxe Lip Liners.” Everything looks amazing!
BLK/OPL – Black-Owned Businesses You’ll Love
I got so excited when I saw this brand.
The shades are perfect for those with deeper skin tones.
BLK/OPL offers skincare and makeup (and the price points are AMAZING)!
This brand is EVERYTHING I wish had been on the market for so much longer and will make so many women with deeper skin tones feel validated.
I love it!
This is available online — some products are sold at Walmart!
Saysh Sneakers
If you love shoes and also love to support women’s rights — you will love this brand.
Created by Allyson Felix (a track and field Olympian) and her brother Wes, Saysh was created in a successful attempt to combat a 70% sponsorship pay cut Allyson faced after she became pregnant. Knowing her worth and feeling disappointed that all women athletes would be faced with similar defeat if they worked with this brand, she decided to build her own empire and cut her losses.
She took her power back.
These sneakers look amazing.
I have my eye on the SABA Vert sneaker and the Felix Runner-Avalanche.
The 1964 Fashion Brand
If you like Madewell or Tuckernuck — this brand is for you.
This brand focuses on sustainability at reasonable prices.
1964 isn’t asking you to shop for every season, they are asking you to shop with purpose so that you can pull out your favorite 1964 pieces year after year.
Ralph Candle Co.
Ralph Candle Co. offers a simplistic design, affordable, and made with purpose.
This will look great in any home and make great gifts and decor options for anyone on any budget.
BLK + Green (Non-Toxic Beauty Products)
This is ideal for the non-toxic beauty lover.
All products are “black, green, and clean.”
Partake Foods
Partake offers allergy-friendly snacks that can be eaten by the masses.
Offering cookies, mini cookies, wafers, classic grahams, and snack packs.
Ideal to share with everyone.
Partake does not include any peanuts, eggs, dairy, soy, tree nuts, sesame, fish, wheat, or shellfish in their products.
Scotch Porter
For the men in our lives who love a luxury shaving experience — Scotch Porter offers plant-based products with clean ingredients for men.
What’s not to love?
I hope you found these black-owned businesses as exciting as I did.
Please keep them in mind as you make purchases throughout the year.
xx,
Nikita
