Favorite Winter Outfits & Being an American Blogging in 2025
We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

Winter outfits are officially something we are all wearing right now. It has been such a mild winter here in Washington state, which has been weird.
I also started to pull back from blogging after the 2024 election and I wanted to share why.
The first reason was that I was in shock, and the second was that I wanted to see how things would play out.
Things are playing out exactly as I thought they would, and so that also makes me sad.
The other reason is that I don’t enjoy blogging by the rules anymore. I just don’t.
It’s not why I got into blogging.
Thoughts on Blogging – Winter Outfits
With the new administration here in America it always allows people to show who they truly are when they feel they are safe to be racist, fascist, and sexist.
That being said, Target, Walmart, and Amazon will not be businesses that this blog features further on the website due to their stance on DEI, in 2025.
Another thing I had to sit with for a long minute, was the entire blogging ecosystem and how it has made me want to scream into the abyss more times than I can count.
Blogging is the MLM QVC queen of the 2020s, and I don’t think it will be a sustainable model anymore for most, not to mention I cannot stand to consume most of the content. I have stopped watching and consuming most fashion and makeup content because I can’t relate to it. It grosses me out because so many women just sh*t on other women to neg them into buying crap they don’t need. I also have not made a video in a bit because of that exact same ecosystem – I am figuring that out.
Video titles reading — “You look old.” Or — “You don’t have style.”
No one who makes cookie-cutter trendy content has style either — they can just follow directions of a trend, and most have stopped thinking for themselves a while ago. Please stop buying into the bs of lack.
QVC content is not something I want to do either. Have you ever been in a sales position? It doesn’t make you feel good on the inside, and I generally don’t like pushy salespeople. That is what it feels like.
I think I will stop linking where I get things directly.
This is for fun and inspiration, not to copy and paste.
Shopping at the mall/online is where it’s at for me this year. I am fully divesting from this weird billionaire blitz of BS.
Be honest.
When did the quality of clothing go down? It was at the inception of Amazon fashion.
Goodbye, Amazon fashion.
Here is what I have been wearing this winter.
