Amazon is a beast to avoid and it has easy access for most during this year’s ongoing pandemic. The competitive prices, the two-day shipping…….the options are truly endless, and while this website has faced many criticisms (all valid criticisms), it still offers every day people the chance to live conveniently in a time of uncertainty, and maybe that is the thing we are all trying to do (live in a schism of certainty).
So, while we all ponder how to survive this pandemic, I thought I would share my favorite things I have purchased from Amazon this past year that were practical and brought me much joy.
The first item I opted for was a new backpack. I have been on the hunt for a new backpack for a while and wanted one I actually loved, and to avoid settling on one I would only like a little, I kept searching for backpacks randomly until I found one that struck me as AMAZING.
This backpack from Mancio really drew me in due to its very vintage structure and calming greenish blue coloring, plus it is up to date with a built-in USB dock for your electronics on the go and it just seemed to be too great a deal to pass up.
Admittedly, I have had no place to use it, but I cannot wait until I can pack my office up and go sit in a cafe to work. Until that day, it sits patiently waiting for items to fill it and places to venture off to.
The next item I opted for was some classic suede black booties. These are the shoes you want wear when it gets cold out, while still feeling more elevated and stylish, without really trying. What I love about these boots is that they are really comfortable and functional and you can wear them all day and you won’t feel like you’re sacrificing comfort for style, plus the price point is low enough that if you want to experiment with a style you won’t break the bank doing it.
Bras are an item that can be exciting to purchase, but I was not in the market for an exciting bra. I had been looking for the perfect t-shirt bra for years; always being a basic one and shopping at Victoria Secret, and you know what? This t-shirt bra throws their t-shirt bra back to the depths of no thanks.
These bras offer amazing coverage and lift and are so inexpensive I had to wonder why it took me so long to figure out that paying more does not always equate with quality or fit.
My final basics haul was fitness focused with a three pack of really great high impact sports bras. These bras allow me to do my HIIT workouts, as well as jog with enough support.
Now, is this the most amazing high impact sports bra? No. But, for the price they are easy to wash and maintain and great to travel in, or just lounge in. I was actually surprised because they are cotton in feeling and not as binding as one normally associates with a high impact sports bra, but they are so comfortable I can’t believe I didn’t try these out sooner.
These are my top essentials picks from Amazon and I hope you found items you may consider trying out from them in the future .
Let me know in the comments what your favorite essential items have been this year?
Talk to you soon.
