I love neons.
Loud colors make me very happy most of the time.
Neutrals make me calm.
How does one combine two things they love into basically a good time?
Remember when I spoke about being a neutral skin tone when wearing red lips? I did a side-by-side of a yellow shirt with neon pink and an off-white with a blue liner to show how as a neutral you can wear basically any color together.
Jewelry mixing is something neutral tones do as well (silver is becoming popular again which I love). I mixed my grandma’s silver with my gold.
Wearing Neon Eyeliner but Make it Neutral
I admit I was nervous when trying this out.
During the pandemic, I bought a really fun few eye makeup pallets and experimented with louder eyeshadows.
Neon eyeliner seemed much more up my street.
I love a winged eyeliner.
So what better way to incorporate neon eyeliner into your everyday?
It is so much easier than you think.
Surprising Facts
As an adult, I totally thought this was not going to be as “noticeable.”
Well.
It is, and it isn’t.
If you’re wearing neon, it is going to be noticeable, but it will also be well worth it.
I think.
Just trust the process, and if you love it, stick with it.
If you don’t love it, you can always wipe it off.
I wipe mine off with micellar water and it works amazingly well.
