The Best Etsy Shops to Know for Classics & Nostalgia
Etsy is a dream boat of creativity and entrepreneurship goals.
Many people who run an Etsy shop are really creative and offer one-of-a-kind things that everyday folk can mix into our lives seamlessly.
During the pandemic, it became increasingly important to me to do a few things while shopping and purchasing items.
I wanted items that I was buying to be more focused on small businesses and be locally owned or sustainable in some way.
Plus, I wanted my money to go toward or support a cause I believed in.
As a result, I have become much more intentional with what I buy, even though I still buy fast fashion and from Amazon (but again, I buy things with the intent that I will have them for years).
This leads me to be really picky with what I am purchasing.
Etsy Shops Are Vast
You can find some really cool things on Etsy that say, you probably would and wouldn’t be able to find at larger chain stores.
Often what you find on Etsy is at a fraction of the price of what larger stores are asking for.
Or at par with the cost entirely.
This is by no means saying that you’re underpaying the Etsy shop, but rather, you could be overpaying at other places.
Shopping on Etsy really puts a lot of things like cost into perspective.
If there is something you are wanting….
Especially for yourself or for other people’s gifts, I cannot recommend Etsy enough.
With that being said, I wanted to share some great Etsy shops that I have found to be really amazing.
Best Etsy Shops
These Etsy shops are all at great price points and these finds are classic, yet trendy and there are even some nostalgic items thrown into the mix.
Best Etsy Shops for Coffee Lovers
If you or someone you know loves coffee and enjoys the art of making a shot of espresso in the morning, look no further than……
From Fran is on Etsy and she also has her own website.
(It looks as if From Fran is taking a short hiatus from her shop, but I encourage you to sign up for her email list, so when she is back you can snag her one-of-a-kind ceramics).
If you’re into cute mugs, may I also suggest Etsy shop Eniko Kovacs Design.
The Daisy mug is too adorable.
Etsy For Nostalgia and Tie Dye
For what seemed like eons, I could not find the perfect tie dye set of my dreams, until I stumbled upon the Etsy shop Masha Apparel.
This set is the most comfy and cozy of tie dye sets.
Not pictured are the soft and amazing matching socks.
I have had this set since the summer of 2020, and it still looks and feels amazing.
Jewlery Lovers
How can we talk about Etsy without mentioning Jewlery?
Gold Jewlery is kind of in right now and as someone who grew up being more of a silver jewlery snob.
(See 90s gold jewelry as to why, also my parents wore gold jewelry and they were to me, at a time….very uncool)……
As it is, it is no longer the 90’s and I have had to evolve and change my stance on gold jewelry.
Gold Ring
For the fun croissant style ring I loved buying from the shop Memory Created.
This ring is a great ring all around.
It is gold encrusted, handmade and wears really well.
I wear mine all the time and wear it in water and it looks amazing still.
Herringbone Chain Gold Necklace
This necklace by Haus of Monogram is one of my absolute favorite things to wear on occasion for when I want to feel fancier but understated.
It lays flat which is a must and I really love my necklace from this shop.
I wear mine pretty consistently and in showers and it has not tarnished at all.
The Name Necklace
This necklace was one of my favorite finds.
It is by the Etsy shop Caitlyn Minimalist .
This style is modernized 90’s nostalgia (for sure) and it’s a dainty enough necklace to get away with people not really noticing your name.
I don’t know how to describe it. It feels so airy and it blends really well stacked on top of my herringbone necklace.
They go really well together.
It’s a fun little necklace.
Other Accessories & Etsy Shops
To close out my favorite Etsy shops I have to shout out this headband shop.
Dreaming Studio Co who does really cute headbands and I really love mine.
More Gifting Ideas
After all the nostalgia wears off, you really have to appreciate where you come from……
And where you come from is probably a bit vintage at this point.
If you want to timestamp yourself or those you love, I recommend gifting a year to remember in the guise of a sweatshirt.
I recently discovered this shop and I am obsessed with gifting these to my friends who love comfort and style and aren’t afraid to wear their age.
This sweatshirt by Passion Pursuit is perfection.
Bath beads or pearls are also one of my jams and you can buy them from Wandering Sense.
Super great and also worth mentioning are these amazingly cute and adorable sandles by Macarena Collection.
These shops are worth checking out for yourself and these items make great gifts for people you love and care about.
Happy shopping and talk to you soon.
