Vintage Online Shops You Want to Know About, say I?
I.
Alright, before we get to these amazing hidden gems….or perhaps not so hidden gems of all things vintage online shops, let’s dive into the topic of affiliate marketing.
This blog post may contain affiliate links, these are to help keep the blog going and are yours to use if you would like.
Now back to this blog post.
Online Vintage Shops
When looking for one-of-a-kind fashion staples, vintage and thrift shopping is kind of the way to go.
Vintage shopping is one of my most favorite pastimes to partake in.
It’s a lot of fun.
Vintage shopping can be tedious and long but the payoff is almost always rewarding.
Vintage online shops are one of the best ways to find fun pieces to add to your wardrobe and can vary in cost.
If vintage buying sounds exciting, but not something you have a lot of time to commit to, there are amazing in person shops and online shops that do the sifting and mending and present you with the final product.
If that sounds like something you’re into…… this blog post is for you.
Finding Your Perfect Online Vintage Shop Fit
So, the cool thing about vintage shopping is that you never know what you’re going to find and you can almost always bet your vintage style will hopefully differ from other people’s.
There are so many genres of clothes and different shops vibes and prices.
You can go designer, or you can go the route that most people of that time probably went……(homemade or department store bought) and if you’re really good, you may just find a piece that seems entirely you.
I have been eyeing shops for a minute now (literally years)…
I have bought from a few of the shops I am listing, but not from all.
I am only sharing the shops that I have either bought from or think have amazing items regularly.
Let’s get started.
The Fancier Side to Vintage Shops
If you have a particular event there are a few vintage online shops that I would love to share with you.
The first vintage online shop XtabayVintage.
Xtabay Vintage is a great fit for formal occasions and just all-around one-of-a-kind pieces.
I would say this shop is one of the pricier options on my vintage online shop recommendations list.
However, if you are looking for one-of-a-kind specialty items this shop is a must.
Next up on the vintage online store list is….
Jumblelaya Vintage, which is curated vintage from the 1930s to the 1970s, which I love.
Maybe you will too?
Pickled Vintage and Sweet Disorder Vintage are other online vintage shops that really do amazing dresses and other vintage pieces.
For the Casual Dresser
Clositherapi Vintage is for the vintage loving everyday women who wants fashion for the daytime and or nighttime, but not overly dressy.
Bonus: This store serves both men and women’s styles.
Lucky Vintage is always a fun shop for the edgier vintage fashion shopper.
Lucky Vintage also shares a lot of designer vintage pieces as well.
Speaking of edgier fashion, if you love 90’s high fashion, Washington Avenue is definitely your go to for all things classy, but a vibe.
Think Hillary Banks.
Everyday Gal Shops
When I think of the everyday gal, I think of stylish but really shop savvy.
I think of women who love fashion but does not need to spend in excess to have it.
This blog is geared towards those types of women, so I think these shops will make you feel excited to dive headfirst into vintage shopping if that is something you’ve been wanting to try out.
First up is Shop Stone Pony (@shopstoneponey) on IG.
This is a Montana based shop, so you’re getting vintage from the PNW perspective, just like in shopping with Lucky Vintage.
Both of these shops are great for the PNW lover.
Next up is Varina Vintage.
A hidden gem.
Great prices and one-of-a-kind pieces.
Varina is on Etsy, but mostly does Instagram story sales and her items go FAST, so you have to be quick.
Eclectic Revival3 is another Instagram shop that also has really great finds at affordable prices.
The final shop worth mentioning (and it is a must) is active on Depop (so, you’ll need the app).
This resale shop is by singer/actress Kate Nash who resells her vintage items.
Depop is really fun way to shop, so I will include her page here.
She posts fun items you won’t want to miss.
Shopping Vintage
I hope this blog post inspires you to support these online women owned businesses and recycle fashion into your wardrobe by incorporating vintage and even thrifted items.
Happy shopping.
