The Best Women’s Boots for Fall

I want to talk about how the best women’s boots for fall will leave your feet screaming in all the best ways.
Am I a boot girlie?
Absolutely.
I’m a PNW girlie (technically Inland), which means any shoe that can withstand the changing moods of our weather…I am down for.
Boots have always been a staple for anyone living in the lovely green, dry, and sometimes desert-looking state of Washington.
Most places on either side of the state can have you needing to hike in a matter of minutes.
Either downtown streets that lead to a path or taking a gander into the many state parks can call for smarter looking shoes.
Our city-to-nature patterns are about fifteen minutes from most developed parts of town.
Beaches to forests, to lakes, mountains, and trails…..
Nature is never that far off from any point in Washington State.
We are really lucky to live here.
Shop the SALES
Last winter I eyed some Michael Kors boots.
The Rory boot.
I left them because they were expensive.
Cute.
Adorable.
But expensive.
DSW currently has a deal where if you spend a certain amount on your order, you get a bit knocked off.
So I ran with it and got two pairs for the cost of the one pair.
Amazing.
I can’t wait for them to arrive.
I know that logos are seen now as so not cool…. but that kind of makes it all the more intriguing for me.
I am working class.
Let me look it. I don’t care.
These boots are so fun, chic and a little bit kick ass.
I love a heavy-looking utility moment. I really do.
And these are on super sale right now from last years $200+ price mark so I jumped at the chance to add these into my shoe collection.
Cowgirl Boots Are In for Me……How About You?
Some nostalgia for me, as growing up, I spent many summers watching my great uncles, my grandpa, and my uncle farm, often running around with my cousins as our moms visited with our great grandma (who was a retired cowgirl and homemaker herself).
I did not help out too much. But we got great benefits, like helping with driving a tractor, riding horses occasionally, visiting the animals and climbing bales of hay…..(which I do not recommend as hay cuts your legs up).
If you must climb bales of hay, please wear jeans.
So having some cowgirl boots back in my closet feels so right.
Also, these are super cute.
When I was selling vintage, I got rid of these amazing cowboy boots I bought one weekend when I was at Central.
I never wore the boots (maybe once?), they were never really that comfortable for me. However, they were great looking shoes, so I am excited to have a more comfy pair to reach for.
Replacing Fall Boots – Shop Savvy Tip
I think it is REALLY important to note that I have had need of new dark combat boots and have not replaced my vintage cowboy boots that I sold.
So these are replacement items and not just added items to my closet on a whim.
I have been looking for a while.
Last year I bought cream combat boots, and I love them, and they will be worn again this year.
I don’t have a ton of space, so I have to be really intentional on what I am buying, how I wear it, and that sort of thing.
I think purchases should last you for a few seasons, especially shoes.
In saying that, depending on the quality of the shoe you may have to replace it every year or every few years.
My last combat boots lasted about five years.
Do what your budget allows and do what feels right.
If you build a closet you love, tapping into your unique style, embracing trends minimally, while allowing yourself to have fun, while also curating and clearing things that don’t resonate with you anymore — your closet and style will thank you.
My Style Picks
The splurge.
A cheaper version from A New Day.
I just think these boots are very chic and will go well with jeans and dresses.
This boot gives me Rosie Huntington Whiteley vibes. A really good boot for pairing with a sweater dress.
A classic black combat boot is something to cherish.
A fun beige short boot.
A classic bootie.
I also love a peep-toe bootie. I think these are classics.
Some under $50 cowboy boots.
Cozy boots. I love my mini Uggs and I hope I can get the platforms. I LOVE a platform shoe.
Closing with some rain boots to keep your feet warm and dry.
