Budget Friendly Winter Jackets

This blog post randomly fell into my lap and as a result, we are now talking about budget-friendly winter jackets.

I love jackets.

Who doesn’t?

They keep you warm and cozy and are a great way to pull an outfit together.

I remember one year for Christmas my wish list item was this very vintage-looking red jacket from Victoria’s Secret.

To this day I still have it.

Unfortunately, I rarely wear it because the buttons they used were poorly sown on and were very heavy, but the jacket structure itself is great.

Remember the nude brown corduroy jackets with a shearling collar (very Y2K and current today)? If you had one in 2004, you remember the chokehold this had on an entire generation…

All of this to say, jackets have a lot of meaning behind them.

Plus, they are so much fun to look at, buy and wear.

That being said, I ran across an ad from H&M…..clicked on it, and now I have to tell you about what I got because it would be rude not to share where I found these jackets.

A Shacket Jacket

When I tell you I had a laugh at myself because when I put this shacket on I transformed into my grandfather who is a retired farmer.

I have never laughed so hard at myself in my life.

But, after the initial shock…. I really got into the overall shacket vibes.

It’s a great purchase.

Shacket’s are perfect for wearing on hikes and around town.

Plus, it’s great for transitional fall to winter needs, is perfectly oversized and really warm.

An added bonus is that it has two large breast pockets that you can put your phone, keys or wallet in, and it is stylish.

The perfect winter jacket layering piece.

10/10 recommend.

Soooooo Good!

When I tell you that to the touch, this jacket feels like finding the perfect vintage jacket, but only your the first person to own it.

The jacket is heavy.

I sized up because I wanted it to be oversized to the point that if I decide I want to wear an oversized tracksuit, the jacket is still oversized.

Also, for us on the shorter side (I am 5ft 4.5 for reference) …..it is a long jacket.

But not so long you are drowning.

Don’t sleep on this luxe coat for under $100!

The Classic Winter Puffer Jacket

I love a classic puffer jacket for all things comfort, extra bundled warmth and winter activities.

This jacket is perfect for both.

American Eagle does not have this exact jacket this year, but here are some that do have a similar vibe.
