Winter Essentials Clothing
Winter essentials clothing is here.
I am still celebrating all that it has to offer. From snowfalls, to rain, to warm days that tease you into dreaming of spring…..I am enjoying it all.
What I also enjoy about Winter in the New Year is that the sales for essentials and anything you’ve had your eye on, are more than likely on sale……or sold out and waiting for a restock.
I thought what better way than to share what I have been enjoying this winter.
First up, my favorite new winter boot is most definitely my pair of “Sperry’s Women’s Salt Water Boots.” They are lined in a micro fleece and keep your toes nice and cozy warm. The fit is true to size and it’s easy to throw on if you need to run out in the snow or rain.
This shoe is great for going on winter walks on trails as well as on paved roads and subs as a nice rain boot.
I cannot rave about this boot enough.
Winter Jackets are also an amazing thing to buy now instead of next winter. I have been purchasing my winter jackets from American Eagle since college and I was really going for a more polished, grown up look, while still wanting to stick to a brand I trusted to keep me warm and this jacket has not disappointed me in the slightest.
Winter Essentials Jacket
This winter essentials long puffer jacket is totally cozy, stylish and warm. It also comes with a detachable faux fur for the hood of the jacket.
Or buy a similar puffer jacket from Asos, here.
Amazon has a great price for a puffer jacket, here.
The amount of pocket space this jacket has is the literal best. I love the deep lined pockets, and it’s the perfect jacket for taking long hikes and not wanting to pack much beyond the jacket.
Pocket game is such a unique experience for women’s wear and I couldn’t be happier that this feature was listed; not to mention that it includes drawstrings that allow you to gather in the waist of the coat for a more fitted look….. and if the fur hood isn’t to your taste, you have the option to remove it, as a lot of people are moving away from the faux hood look ( I am not one of those people).
Jeans
Jeans…..one can never have enough and once you find a fit and style that you really love, it’s almost impossible to imagine deviating from that fit.
I find that when jean shopping, one really has to be aware of what works for you and what doesn’t. For me, I have always found my best jean fit to be from Old Navy (cheap to buy but offers great quality) and Express ( a little more pricey but still under $100.00, but the jeans are great)……
Loft, even offers great jeans I have found, now that I think of it.
Here are my favorite trends right now for jeans.
These jeans give me the impression of my vintage Levi jeans but offer a more modern approach with the texture of the jeans and are versatile.
You can roll down the jeans or roll them up.
Ripped denim is always a favorite of mine, even if people say it’s out of style. I find these jeans from Old Navy to be classics with a few holes.
If you’re not ready to part with skinny jeans, these are a great option to have an almost boot cut, but not as harsh of a line.
If you’re craving a loose fit, these are your jeans. I wish they had these in a darker wash.
These black wash jeans with the loose fit.….EXCEPTIONAL!
Wrap Sweater
This “pleated wrap front sweater” from Nordstrom’s is in a few words; simple, but elegant. When I look at the fit, it screams 80’s with the neckline and where it hits at the waist, but the fabric choice makes it look modern and soft. I am obsessed with this sweater.
The next and final pull for my winter favorite look is this off the shoulder sweater. In high school, this was literally my favorite sweater style choice (ah, yes….2004, calling) and I am so happy it has made a comeback. It’s such a fun approach for a sweater.
Beanie
Don’t forget warm winter socks and gloves.
Let me know if you found anything in the mix that you found to exciting and if you’re inspired to catch some of these late winter sales.
Talk to you later.
