Finding your perfect fall and winter fragrances — I think you need to have your senses about you. By that, I mean, I think you need to know what you like and why.

Fragrance is deeply personal. What I like, someone else might not, and that is okay.

Find what constitutes as a perfect fall and winter fragrance for yourself.

For me, it has to feel cozy, warm, nostalgic, crisp – like being wrapped in a warm hug.

I think I have a decent selection of different scent profiles for you to check out.

Carolina Herrera – Good Girl

Scent profile:

Top notes are almond, coffee, bergamot, and Lemon.

The heart is tuberose, jasmine sambac, orange blossom, orris, and Bulgarian rose.

Base notes: tonka bean, cocoa, vanilla, praline, sandalwood, musk, amber, cashmere wood, cinnamon, and patchouli.

Fenty – Eu Du Parfume

Top notes are blueberry and tangerine.

The heart is Bulgarian Rose, geranium and magnolia.

Base: Patchouli, Musk

Valentino – Donna Born in Roma

Top notes are black currant, pink pepper and bergamot.

The heart is jasmine, jasmine sambac, and jasmine tea.

Base: bourbon vanilla, cashmeran and guaiac wood. 

Coach – Wild Rose

 Red currant and bergamot.

The middle notes are rose and jasmine sambac.

Base notes are ambroxan, tonka bean and moss

Discontinued Fragrances I Love!

YSL Elle and Balenciaga Paris are discontinued scents, but if you can get your hands on them — I do highly love and recommend.

Paris Hilton Platinum Rush

Top notes are pear, mango and red apple.

The middle notes are green accord, magnolia, Lily-of-the-Valley and some floral notes.

Base notes are cashmere musk, patchouli and amber.

Finery

Top notes are pistachio milk, fluffy vanilla and tonka bean.

 Neroli blossom, cedarwood and suede musk

Madagascar vanilla, cacao wood, and smoked and vetiver.

• The New Rouge – Golden Saffron, Amber Resin, and Sandalwood
