Graphic Tees — A Great Style Piece to Add into Your Wardrobe

This past summer, I started re-curating my graphic tees collection.
I have always been a fan of a comfy tee.
The gift of an oversized night shirt that you can throw on were staples of my childhood.
My dad would be working (I’m a military brat) and would often bring a graphic tee from where he had just been.
It was always oversized.
They were great sleep shirts.
In high school, graphic tees were all the rage.
They were tighter, shorter and more suggestive in the early 2000s.
A great departure from the often oversized graphic tees of the 90s.
Even the fabric was softer and just cozy–IYKYK.
In the early aughts, I also collected graphic tees from shows (bands that would play locally).
If I didn’t like what I had to wear to the shows, I would “borrow” my younger brothers t-shirts and pair it with jeans and sneakers.
T-shirts have always been an important staple in any wardrobe.
My t-shirt collection was dwindling because I ended up giving a lot of my clothes away(pandemic clear outs), and also because I just wasn’t as into them anymore.
You cannot hold onto things you no longer feel connected with…
Now, I am back to loving a good, oversized graphic tee.
Graphic Tees to Check Out
Love this shirt so much.
I have a vintage oversize of something similar.
Also, really loving branded t-shirts like vintage Calvin Klein, Adidas, BUM Equiptment……
And a great band tee is also great to have on rotation. Also check out band merch sections of their websites.
Ways to Style Graphic Tees
Styling your graphic tee with a skirt and boot of choice.
Pairing a graphic tee with wide leg jeans (or your jean of choice).
Styling it with a trouser pant. Keeping it elevated yet casual.
Run errands like the kids these days…..an oversized shirt and biker shorts.
How will you be styling your graphic tees this autumn?
