Holiday Outfit Inspiration.
I love the magical feeling of Christmas Eve.
Who doesn’t absolutely love to get dressed up for Christmas Eve?
It truly brings so much joy to my heart and soul.
There is something so cozy yet glamorous about Christmas Eve dress-up.
I am a firm believer that you only need one or two items to make your outfit feel holiday ready.
Here are some items worth getting inspired by.
After you read this blog post I have a very fun exercise for you to do.
Go to your closet.
Pick out your main holiday basic.
A pair of slacks? A skirt? A dress?
Pick two items that scream holiday in your closet. Incorporate that into your look.
If you don’t see anything, keep reading and see if you can shop a sale or find something similar in your closet.
Dresses
Hue is an emerald green, and the embedded print is floral. This reminds me of a dress I wore to a winter dance growing up. Love.
Simple black dress with an off the shoulder neckline. Imagine the fun you could have with the accessories.
I love how glam this dress is. This reminds me of a very California inspired Christmas Eve, or a (wore a faux fur Teddy coat over the dress) glammed up holiday party look. Not specifically a NYE vibe — but a December party vibe. You know?
It’s giving 90s in the city. I snatched this up because it is truly TIMELESS! — And I have worn tartan for the past few years on Christmas Eve. It was giving — I need a change and under $50.
This dress is such a subtle “I wear it all the time” dress. You can wear this year round.
Simple and Christmassy.
If you are only buying one dress for Christmas and NYE — I think this one is very promising. All the glitz and all the comfort.
“Adds to cart.” An actual Christmas gown for function, and it looks super cozy.
Tops
Who loves velvet? A classic piece to add to your collection for many winters.
Sequins.
Sometimes all you need is a festive top and you’re good to go. I love this peasant blouse for its color and shape. A perfect tuck into slacks top.
Bottoms
I think pink is a really fun way to play-up the holidays. I have never done it. Could be fun. Very barbie.
This is such a fun a flirty skirt for a year round purchase.
Super fun and sparkly.
A great fall to winter transition item and perfect for the holiday season.
These are amazing at just $35.
I am sharing these pants to compare and contrast a “higher-end” version. Save your money. Or spend. Do whatever you want.
Accessories
I feel like you could honestly just add a few accessories that feel a little bit more glitz, and you would have a great holiday look.
A classic black pair of pumps.
a Mach and Mach dupe.
Classic clutch with a twist.
Simple accessories are always great. Especially if you are wearing heavy patterns or sparkle.
The bag that goes with almost everything.
A bag you bought just for the holidays.
So cute and very classically a millennial favorite.
A fun silver bag with a knot.
Thus concludes my holiday piece picks.
What will you be wearing to holiday events as we close out 2023?
