How to Style Cowboy Boots

Recently, I took my new cowboy boots out when visiting my cousin to see the Barbie film and thought a styling cowboy boots post should be in order.

If I love to do anything…….

It’s throwing an outfit together.

For others, for myself, for a BARBIE. I literally think Barbie outfits made me love clothes.

The Barbie movie was so exciting (I didn’t cry like I had been warned that I could).

I felt it was an appropriate movie and had a ton of humor and was very human centric in its approach.

Greta Gerwig is a legend.

It was my first time attending an adult only dinner theater and we had a BLAST (my aunt, my cousin and I).

Styling Cowboy Boots

To style, you will first and foremost need a pair of cowboy boots you love.

You can find them at many different price points.

I styled these boots.

My go-to inspiration for this was a mix of the aughts. The dress below is the closest thing I could find to what I actually wore. I will tag a similar shape below this dress as well.

I would say a beach shift dress is great to style with cowboy boots and it is how I styled it.

The dress I wore is from Ana and is from last summer. I couldn’t find it to share here.

From there, I paired the dress and boots with a fun oversized pink blazer that was perfect for the Barbie film.

Any oversized blazer to accompany your shift dress will do.

I have to say this is my LEAST favorite. But it is in.

Because skinny jeans are not the done thing in 2023, boot-cut/ wide-leg jeans will get you this look (I think you should wear any jean style you prefer)….

Fashion-savvy people will encourage you to embrace a bulkier bootcut jean, to tuck into your boots.

Do what you prefer.
