NYX Buttermelt Bronzers and Buttermelt Blushes – A Quick Product Review
We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

I have been jonesing to try the NYX Buttermilk bronzers and, Buttermelt blushes for a minute now.
Finally, I can report back my findings.
Is it viral for content, or is it actually a great product?
Let’s get into it.
The Buttermelt bronzers run for $12 a pop, while the Buttermelt blushes run you about $10.
Not bad — but also not cheap either.
Buttermelt Bronzers

I really want to say this product is for everyone.
It simply is not.
Issue one — these shades run warm.
If you are cool-toned, or neutral-cool, you may hate how these look on your skin.
Pros?
They are highly pigmented (so a little goes a long way).
Not only that, they make really great eyeshadow bases and blend seamlessly into the skin.
If you like fragrance in your makeup, this does not disappoint.
It smells like cocoa.
Packaging?
I really love the way it is packaged, and I love the way it feels in my hands.
Would I buy this again? I would.
My wishes? I had hoped that they would have offered more undertone ranges for this product — however — I can see myself reaching for this if I was warmer toned. It is a great product.
Highly recommend.
Buttermelt Blushes

If I had one blush to recommend — It is the NYX Buttermelt blushes.
It has everything I want and everything I need.
As a blush-a-holic — this is EVERYTHING!
Highly pigmented, yet buildable.
Blend-able like butter.

Offering a strobing effect highlight as the product emulsifies on your skin.
Every shade is gorgeous.
I have “Butta Half” and “Getting Betta.”
Love.
All the stars.
If You Are on The Fence
I say go for it.
This is a product that performs well while giving a lot of payoff, with very little while performing like high-end.
Even if the bronzer is too warm, it looks amazing as eyeshadow.
You’re getting very versatile products for a very fair amount of money.
The con?
It is a product that I would say is pretty expensive for drugstore.
Drugstore Alternatives
Wet n’ Wild offers a great alternative product.
Another great one is from Elf.
Makeup Revolution also offers a buildable bronzer. This bronzer is suited best for fair skin tones.
Physicians formula also has a great option.
Will you be trying out these NYX buttermelt bronzers and buttermelt blushes?
Let me know in the comments.
