Do Princess Nail Alternatives Truly Outshine the Trend?

Princess nails are in, as is conservatism.
I made an entire YouTube video for you to check out, where I go in-depth as to how and why this trend is so popular.
At the end of the day, fashion and beauty are political, and it is always interesting to look at the coincidences that happen because of that within the fashion and beauty world.
Throughout history, we actually have a real need for self-expression and nails have historically been a part of that narrative.
Reserved mostly for the upper echelons of society, nobles and royalty —
Nail art has been made to be attainable for the masses, which feeds into a capitalistic society, and largely benefits the top 1% in fake class wars, where the masses cannot compete for the wealth at the top.
It leaves us clamoring for the newest trends to prove our status within society.
A society that must bog down the rest of the 99% to make sure at least one percent maintains a shaky stronghold.
When the masses do anything, the elite must differentiate themselves, compete, or risk extinction, as they need to assert dominance to maintain the facade of authority, which means signaling through beauty and fashion, poetry and art.
As always, the top one percent only knows how to steal, kill, and destroy, which is why they copy like their life depends on it, monopolize on supplies and ideas that are not their own, and sell them back out to the masses, hoping to cheat the code of life.
It cannot always be so.
What Are Princess Nails
Your nails but better.
Think a manicured hand with a clear coat of polish, or a French tip that mimics a naked nail, just with a more pink tone, structure, and polish.
Who Enjoys This Nail Art?
People who like to have clean and manicured hands have been doing this for decades, but trend-savvy people are now courting this nail art in their day-to-day lives as it makes them feel excited to be a part of something greater than themselves, or a part of groupthink in a way that feels safe.
How Is This Nail Art Conservative?
In a quick recap, when political times get more conservative, restraint in color and in supply becomes less available and is even looked at as being too opulent within society, so that if it is being used, it is often looked at as “othering”.
