The Best Sleeper Dress Dupes on Amazon
We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.
Amazon sleeper dress dupes have been making the rounds on the internet for a while.
Thank you TikTok.
Do you remember when the Sleeper brand made the scene?
I do.
Influencers everywhere were wearing the Sleeper Atlanta dress and I was obsessed.
Not because influencers were wearing them, but because they screamed 1970s dressing gowns in a weird way to me and I really had to have one.
I couldn’t reason the Atlanta dress price tag, but I did eventually cave to get some sleeper goodness.
First things first…..
Benefits of Buying a Dupe
There are many reasons why you want to buy a dupe.
The first being, that you may want to see if the style wears you or if you wear it.
Also, it helps to find out how much wear you actually get out of the garment before actually committing to it fully.
Sleeper Atlanta Dupe
I personally have three dresses from this haul, and I will let you know what I think of them.
Also, a great influencer to follow is Fashion Mumblr on YouTube, because she does really good dupe hauls and this is how I discovered the blue and white gingham dress.
R. Vivimos is probably my favorite go-to for a Sleeper dupe.
The blue gingham is one of my favorites and I have gotten so much use out of it.
I even wore it to the Wizard of OZ re-release in honor of Judy Garlands Birthday (nerd-things-only).
I’ll probably do it again come October, for the perfect DIY Dorothy Gale costume (If I even dress up this year).
My next R. Vivimos dress is in white.
What I like about this dress is the small popcorn detailing in the fabric.
The con of this dress is that I don’t love how see-through the top part is…… you have to add a bra into the mix to make sure your nips are covered, but other than that it’s a very soft, cotton, linen fabric and feel.
All these dresses mentioned wrinkle easily so you can be expected to steam them if you don’t want a wrinkled fabric look.
I personally don’t mind it.
The Pink Smocked Dress
This pink smocked dress is also from R. Vivimos and I wore this for Easter this year.
It’s the perfect spring dress because the fabric is a bit thicker than the other dress designs and it is also just a bit heavier to wear, while the other dresses are light and airy.
This dress is a perfect example of a dress that I wasn’t sure if it would wear me, or I would wear it.
I kind of find it be too girly for me…I think it may be, but I still wear it and I still like it.
As girly and as feminine as I like to be, I am a bit of a tomboy at times, so feeling too constricted in such a long and frilly pink dress that feels almost too romantic was kind of a stretch for me.
This pink version is the ultimate princess version of a sleeper dress, and my personality is a bit beachy and relaxed (so it’s not my go-to).
Definitely an out of my comfort zone buy, but I do love it.
Speaking of girly dresses, Flossy by Freddy is now live and you can sign up for a trio of her brands dresses.
I think they’ve almost sold out, but she has a site that allows you to sign up for when a dress is restocked.
Keeping with the pink theme, this pink gingham is also an awesome Sleeper dress dupe.
I especially love how this bow (in the back) is thicker and more structured for this one.
Closing with Black Gingham
I love gingham as a fabric print.
I have a few pieces that I love that have lasted me years (lol to this photo though).
Anyways, all laughs aside at myself, we can all appreciate a gingham moment.
This dress is perfection and probably the next R. Vivimos dress I will purchase.
Should You Buy a Sleeper Dress?
Stay tuned, because I have, and I would love to talk about it.
Leave a comment below if you’ve tried the Sleeper dress, a sleeper dupe or both.
I would love to hear what your take on these dresses are.
Talk to you later.
