I really love a red lip for summer.

It’s kind of unexpected, I think.

Like the sun is out, and there you are, with your glaring red lips.

It does work however, and the more you find your perfect red, you actually feel quite aligned with the red lipstick that is on your face.

What You’ll Need – The Perfect Red Lip for Summer

A really natural-looking base.

I opted for no eye makeup.

The point of this look is to look natural with a pop of color.

“Very cutesy.”

“Very demure.”

You can add or subtract whatever products you would like.

Essence “Keep Me Covered” Concealer.

Lifter liner shade — Fine Line.

Why I Love This Look

I love how easy this makeup is, in theory.

Not to mention, I really love the mix and match of drugstore with more mid-to higher-end products.

If you have combination oily skin, I would say to stick with a matte powder and skip the “finishing” or “setting” spray.

I find that any re-wetting of my T-zone is a disaster.

These products wear well with just a quality finishing powder and nothing else.
