Wedding Guest Dresses and Wedding season in the summer is elite.
What is your favorite season for weddings?
I love summertime for a wedding, especially in late spring or late summer when the temps are less likely to make guests uncomfortable.
There are ways to ensure guests are not overheated, such as evening weddings, which I find to be the best for summer weddings.
That is always something to think about when dress shopping.
How hot is it going to be out there?
Is it indoor and outdoor? Or one or the other?
So many questions.
We have really hot and dry summers in Eastern Washington, so it gets pretty hot here.
I think my favorite wedding was my childhood best friend’s wedding, which was the first week of July.
Total summertime wedding vibes and done really well.
But to be fair, her wedding went well because she studied weddings like a champ, knew what she wanted, and went for it.
It also helped that her late mom was a queen at entertaining, so she and her mom and sister thought of everything.
Venue, music, food, dance, drinks — really done well. Honestly. I’ve been to some great weddings. Hers was chef’s kiss.
You can always tell a well-planned wedding when the wedding party is carefree after the wedding ceremony, tables are full, people are dancing, food is being eaten, and the newlyweds take off into the sunset in a retro car, on a dirt road, chasing the sunset into their forever.
Love.
