If you are wondering what to do in January that isn’t goal setting or removing things from your routine that you find unhelpful…..

I ask you to look no further than going in on winter scented candles.

Go in full force.

Buy the candle.

Smell the candle.

Admire its warm beauty and the scent that lingers in your personal space.

Scented & Luxurious

What if I told you that you can get very fragrant and scented candles for a reasonable price?

I am not saying don’t spend money on expensive candles.

If that is what brings you joy, please buy what you want with your hard earned money.

What I am saying is that I have found some really great candles at really great price points that smell just as fragrant and lux as the lux style candles and I think it would be mean not to share what I have found.

Affordable Candle Brands

So, when I want to find a good candle that isn’t from the Body Shop or the Body Shop ( I am very fancy)……I look at places like Target and TJ Maxx.

The crazy thing about candle shopping is that you kind of have to be very particular, because you won’t always find the lux smelling candles when you scour the shelves of said stores.

Candle scents are a lot like perfume scents and the scent gold is in the nose of the beholder.

With that being said, I will list my favorite scents and brands that I have found over the past two years.

DW Home Candles

DW Home Candles really wowed me apparently, because of all three brands, this one had me buying up the most over the past two years….single handedly making me the most sane and calm human in times of stress.

My favorite winter candle scents from DW Candles were:

-Frosted Woods

-Silver Spruce

-Mulled Wine & Spices

Leoben Co

Leoben Co also had some amazing fragrances for the winter candle scents……

My favorite scents from Leoben Co:

-Fragrance 23 (do not let the simple packaging fool you…the scent is heavenly).

–Balsam & Fir

Bullseye’s Playground

Target’s walk in $5 section sometimes get’s me and this year’s selection of cute tartan mini candle tins had me sniffing these candles through my mask in no time at all.

If it has cute packaging……I want to know more.

So even though the holidays are over, the truth is that winter is still in its full season……so the more we embrace the season, the better.
