Women’s Winter Jackets to Invest In (A Review)

Women’s Winter jackets are simply the BEST.

They really put a pep in my step and make any outfit that much more stylish.

The wrong jacket with the wrong outfit can make me feel blah — instead of like myself (enter a relaxed sigh of relief).

I cannot tell you how many times in my life I have loved an outfit and had a really hard time styling that outfit for the transition time from outdoor to indoor.

Investing in a pea coat — Great place to start.

A puffer jacket? Everyday wear approved (for most of my outfits).

However, there is this one sweet spot that is hard to place.

Ex: Not all leather jackets are built the same, and you may need a few fonts of leather coats for different outfits (this goes for most coats if you don’t invest in classic cuts).

Investing in a classic coat is worth it.

When I say investing, I mean finding a quality coat that you like.

I don’t mean spending for a name brand anything.

A Teddy Coat – Women’s Winter Jackets

I have been wanting a longer Teddy coat for a few years, and I found one for just under $100 and on-sale at Kohls.

I really love the Teddy from Ugg as well.

Good American has a really great option as well. Very chic.

A Classic Wool Blend Trench Coat

A moment of transparency — I actually had to force myself to grab my oatmeal trench because I haven’t worn it all year.

I am glad I did because I really appreciate how amazing this trench is.

It’s such a heavy duty jacket, but I love how it lets me feel put together even in very casual clothes.

I feel very blessed to have gotten it when it became available through H&M (fall of 2022).

Looking online today, I was not able to find anything comparable to the jacket at the same price point. I believe my jacket was just under $80.

I will try to link similar coats, although the price point may be higher.

Shopping Tip: I would shop Etsy and depop reseller for older H&M gems.

The Classic Mid – Length Puffer Jacket

You can tell me this style of jacket is out of style until the cows come home, and I still won’t care.

The mid-length puffer jacket is here to stay.

I mean……

Cozy.

It includes bum and thigh warmth (perfect for dog walks in the winter cold).

And — it feels like you’re wearing a duvet with pockets.
