Summer Linen Clothes the Ultimate Chic Investment

I feel like I am late to the summer linen clothes appreciation party.

Summer linens FREAKED me OUT for the longest time.

I am being so serious.

I don’t know why.

Perhaps it was that realization that mature women wore linen.

Yes, Diane Keaton on a beach in a romantic comedy played on repeat in my mind as I struggled with the concept of summer linens and wearing them myself.

Regardless….I dressed like a grandma (at times) before owning linens.

But in my quest for minimalistic summer staples, I have found two that really have me very impressed.

Target came in CLUTCH with these A New Day white linen blend shorts.

They are structured so well and feel and wear like they could be 100% linen but are less than 50% linen.

Next Are These Linen Pants

I was skeptical about these pants and still have to get them tailored because I am five foot five (short).

Sometimes the photo makes an item look cheaper than it looks IRL. So I was skeptical.

IRL, these actually look super chic and very well made.

These pants are only 30% linen, so they don’t feel as linen as the shorts that I mentioned above.

Other Linen Selections

At the end of the day– I am excited to add inexpensive linen blends to the rotation of my summer wardrobe.
